The idea of establishing a branch of St. Aloysius Senior Secondary School Jabalpur was originated from the growing demand by the people, for quality education from St. Aloysius School. After the purchase of the land at Polipathar on 29` h November 2000, Fr George P.A. and Fr. Mathew Joseph were appointed to develop the place on 10` h April 2001. The planning began for the establishment of a school at Polipathar and the first admissions were taken in Feb.2002 in LKG, UKG and Class I numbering almost 180 boys and girls. St. Aloysius School, Polipathar was founded on 2"' July 2002. The inaugural function was held at St. Aloysius Sr. Secondary School, Sadar, Jabalpur. Rt. Rev. Gerald Almeida, Bishop of Jabalpur blessed the granite plate with the inscription that St. Aloysius School, Polipathar, Jabalpur was founded on 2"' July 2002 during the tenure of Fr. George P.A. as Principal, in the presence of many Fathers, Sisters, teachers, parents, students and well wishers. St. Aloysius School, Polipathar is a minority institution managed by the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur and administered by the Jabalpur Diocesan Educational Society.

The aim of this educational institution is the integral formation of the child who, as he grows, becomes aware of the world and its people, its diverse cultures and problems and prepares himself to function in his chosen career with a quality in his relationship with his Creator and with those he comes in contact with, thus finding that fulfilment which comes from the ultimate goal of doing everything for the glory of God and the good of one's neighbour.

It endeavours to give an all-round education, liberal, technical, physical, moral and spiritual, primarily to Catholics, for whose education the school is established, and to the extent possible, to children of all other communities.

The Institution enjoys the right to manage, administer and carry on any concern of whatever nature, conducive to the material, moral, educational and physical welfare of the students.

To achieve this, the Principal, staff and students draw their inspiration from Jesus Christ who lived and died for the salvation and development of every human being.
